The Warren County Izaak Walton League Archery Range provides a safe and accessible environment for members to practice and enjoy shooting sports.

Hours of Operation

Open daily from 8:00 AM until ½ hour before sunset

The range may be closed periodically
Closures will be posted via signage and/or on the website

Archery Range Features

Covered concrete shooting pad for all shooting distances

Targets available from 20 yards to 100 yards

Archery chair onsite

Gravel parking for up to 5 vehicles at the range (additional parking available nearby)

3D opportunities April, June, July, and August.

Range Use & Supervision

This is an unsupervised range

All users are expected to follow proper archery safety practices

Use of the facility is at your own risk

Archery Range Rules

IMPORTANT: Any use of Izaak Walton League facilities is at your own risk. The League is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage.

General Rules

All shooting must be done from the concrete pad
Follow all archery safety protocols at all times
No alcohol, drugs, or impairment allowed on the range
No broadheads allowed on the range
No shooting wildlife

Range Courtesy & Cleanup

Help keep the range clean and in good condition, dispose of all trash and remove any personal equipment when finished
Be respectful of others using the range

Range Closures

The range is closed when signage is posted. Do not use the range during closures for any reason.

Enforcement

Any violation of these rules or unsafe behavior may result in loss of membership or possible legal action.

Additional Information

Range use is limited to Ike’s and Mid Iowa Archers members. Be prepared to show your Izaak Walton membership card if requested
