The Warren County Izaak Walton League Trap Range offers a welcoming environment for shooters of all experience levels. Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned shooter, our facilities and events provide great opportunities to get involved.

The trap fields are open to the public for practice trap shooting every Tuesday night from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM starting the first Tuesday in April and lasting thru October. Contact Kevin King at 515-442-6009 with any questions.

SUMMER TRAP LEAGUES
The Warren County Ike’s trap leagues are open to the public and designed for some fun for youths and adults. Let us know if you need a team to shoot on, we usually have teams looking for another member so come on out and meet some new people or bring some friends and compete together.

Program
Shoot 50 targets from the 16 yard line per week for six weeks. Three of the weeks will be regular trap from the 16 yard line and three weeks will be wobble trap from the 16 yard line.

$84 per person
Trap Range Features
Four trap houses, all with the capability of singles, doubles, and handicaps.
Bleachers for watching shooting
Clubhouse for buying ammo/rounds
Gravel parking for up to 5 vehicles at the range (additional parking available nearby)
Reloading components may be available (selection varies)
Portapotties for bathroom use
Range Use & Supervision
This is an unsupervised range
All users are expected to follow proper firearm safety practices at all times
Use of the facility is at your own risk
