The Warren County Izaak Walton League Rifle Range provides a safe and accessible environment for members to practice and enjoy shooting sports.

Hours of Operation
Open daily from 8:00 AM until ½ hour before sunset
The range may be closed periodically
Closures will be posted via signage and/or on the website

Rifle Range Features
Covered concrete shooting pad accommodating up to 10 simultaneous shooters
100-yard range, with select shooting bays extending to approximately 140 yard
Approximately 6 benchrests and 2 large tables available onsite
Gravel parking for up to 5 vehicles at the range (additional parking available nearby)
Shooters may bring and use metal targets (must be used safely and removed after use)
Wood target stands provided for attaching targets
Range Use & Supervision
This is an unsupervised range
All users are expected to follow proper firearm safety practices at all times
Use of the facility is at your own risk
Rifle Range Rules
IMPORTANT: Any use of Izaak Walton League facilities is at your own risk. The League is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage.
General Rules
- All shooting must be done from the concrete pad
- Follow all gun safety protocols at all times
- No alcohol, drugs, or impairment allowed on the range
- No fully automatic firearms or .50 BMG or larger weapons
- No shooting wildlife
Ammunition & Targets
Prohibited ammunition:
- Explosive targets
- Tracers
- Steel core
- Incendiary rounds
Prohibited targets:
- Cement
- Glass
Range Courtesy & Cleanup
- Dispose of all trash and spent ammunition in provided barrels
- Be respectful of others using the range
Enforcement
Any violation of these rules or unsafe behavior may result in loss of membership or possible legal action.
